CHANG Hao-Hsin’s Lost in Memory – Landscape Specimen is composed of six photographs. His work was inspired by a trip to the seacoast that he once made in an attempt to “get away from it all.” Chang visited a deserted, seemingly forsaken beach, and captured scenes from this neglected coastal landscape on black-and-white film, including lush vegetation, streetlamps, fences and ruins. To the artist, these forgotten scenes bear witness to changes that take place over time.
