TSAI Shih-Hung presents a nomadic state by creating a virtual space. In The Searcher, viewers can see that a bright platform and a gray building appear in front of the cosmic background. The image hanging in front of the building is broken and unrecognizable. There is a hole on the ground, and several colored spheres are floating above it. The characters in the painting are lost in the gaps of time and space. They are hiding behind the wall and holding a banner. They try to talk to each other but they fail to communicate with the outside world. TSAI Shih-Hung builds a unique world between imagination and reality, exploring the boundary between existence and non-existence.
