TSAI Shih-Hung’s visual elements are taken from animation, cartoons, movies, and photographs in order to create fantastic sceneries that differ from everyday lives. The Troop is composed of a circular panel and a square panel. The circular panel depicts a koala with an army standing on top of its head that is ready to receive attacks coming from a flying island. The square panel depicts a horse with an individual standing on its head who is also looking towards the sky to observe the attacks made by the flying island. TSAI Shih-Hung made use of the images of war and animals to create a cute yet unsettling atmosphere to reflect upon the actual straits faced by the modern society.
