Secluded by YANG Zi-Yi expresses the possibilities between natural and artificial. With a unique aesthetic image system, he tried to present his own desire for nature, combining natural rockeries with artificial stone gates, and conveying the fusion and dialogue between nature and man-made. In the staid and symmetrical composition, we see a purple rockery with a door embedded, two Taihu stone ornaments in different shapes are placed on both sides. The space extends further from the floor below, but it leads to the emptiness, as if a deep strange space is behind. Through the artificial objects and natural symbols, YANG Zi-Yi leads the audience to discover the contrast and combination between “man-made” and “natural symbiosis”.
