作品賞析
TAO Kang combines the philosophy of Eastern ink painting to create a fictional space of landscape. In the work, Black Pond (1), he uses countless dots of different sizes and shades of ink to pave the undulating hills. The overlapping hills almost fill up the square, giving a deep and profound feeling. Two lakes are scattered in between, and the geometrically abstract patterns are like small islands. The minimalist black and white color tone replaces the natural colors, giving the picture an ethereal and calm atmosphere. TAO Kang's landscape under his pen is both poetic and rational, conveying his own state of mind and also forming a poetic space for the mind to rest, think, and imagine.
