TAO Kang has lost family members to a car accident, leading to his negativity and uncertainty of people around him. This, however, gave him the impetus to compose the artwork Create the Human – Human. Create the Human – Circus Doll (4) uses yellow as the background tone, upon which black, white, and gray shades were employed to showcase marionettes having fun in a theme park. To TAO Kang, the external appearance of the individual should not be the governing aspect. Instead, the people’s ability to appreciate differences between backgrounds and how they interact with others should be regarded as the most truthful dimension of human nature.
