After enduring the pain of bereavement from the loss of a loved to a car accident, artist TAO Kang channeled his emotions into water-and-ink painting. The Creation of Human Beings – Futurity series is a look at the people Tao met in his life. In his work, he exhibits a sense of interaction between himself and different subjects, applying a semi-abstract water-and-ink painting technique as a means of expression. In The Creation of Human Beings - Futurity III, silhouetted images of human beings float above a mass of inky blackness, but their features are indistinct. Tao creates a fantasy mountain landscape with large ink spots, trying to create a new place for humanity to survive and giving us a macroscopic perspective.
