HSU Jui-Fu observes the form of biological decay as a means to reflect inner desires and explore the deepest subconscious self. The spread of decay was emulated using dense brushstrokes, transforming them into a window to look into the deepest recesses of the soul. Insight into Inherence-1 uses overlapping layers of repeated brushwork to generate the form of mold spores springing from decay in detail. The dense, dark sphere builds a compact visual display, with the spores in the center creating a black hole-like abyss and the rest blurring the boundaries as they spread outwards, generating a final composition that represents the extreme chaos of inner thought.
