Artist HSIAO Bei-Chen started creating a series of paintings on scenic views in 2010. Using epoxy and paint, HSIAO paints layers over layers on wooden boards to create landscape paintings that seem to be preserved in glass containers. The artist wants to reenact the external world perceived through glass via this work.
