LIN Yi-Chun is skilled in using brightly colored geometric figures, overlapping and weaving them to create brilliant and constantly evolving abstract compositions. Her works are filled with personal imaginations that have been included with numerous memory patches and colorful confetti that metaphorically refer to various snippets of her memories to convey the abstract concept of illustrating edited temporal moments. Wonderful Moment-23 provides an orderly and overlap of color patches. The pond is used as the key artistic vocabulary to create an artwork mainly composed of blue shades of the water surface and green colors of the grasses. Distinctly shaped geometric diagrams explode and shower semi-transparent confetti throughout the composition to form a beautifully overlapping array of colors. LIN Yi-Chun’s works are games of splendorous tones filled with personal imagination and open to everyone’s participation.
