LIN Yi-Chun is skilled in using brightly colored geometric figures, overlapping and weaving them to create brilliant and constantly evolving abstract compositions. Her works are filled with personal imaginations that have been included with numerous memory patches and colorful confetti that metaphorically refer to various snippets of her memories to convey the abstract concept of illustrating edited temporal moments. Wonderful Moment-55&56 is composed of four panels with Bridge, Grasses, Boat, and Ladder as the keywords. Aquatic blue and grass green shades were employed as the main tones. This artwork is a casual composition of regularly overlapping pieces of clearly defined geometric color shapes exploding across the canvas.
