“City Disqualified –Ximen District（Prototype）” by artists YUAN Goang-Ming looks like a simple photo at first glance. However, it took the artist approximately 2 months to take over 300 photos of Ximen District. The artist uses the “copy” and “paste” function to take partial photos without the presence of people and vehicles and puts them together into one f photo without any flaws. The artist turns the bustling Ximen District into an empty theater without any functionality through the imaging technology that makes people re-think the essence of cities.
