CHIN Hsuan-Chen uses printmaking as the main medium for creation. She uses wood as the material and uses a color-stacking technique to display the rich-colored image. The work, Expectation-A, expresses the beautiful expectation and hope in the journey of life. In the bright yellow background, there is a bowl-shaped container filled with rich contents, which can be cool shaved ice in summer or the starry sky of the universe. All kinds of irregular, vertically staggered lines are shaped in red, yellow and blue, and scattered in the picture to create a dreamy, story-like image. CHIN Hsuan-Chen conveys a sincere passion for life with a geometrically abstract expression.
