CHIN Hsuan-Chen uses panel art as an important creative medium. Repeated carvings and overlapping colors are used to express dynamic changes of color and harmony of woodblock prints. Endless Journey-9 depicts the unknown surprises of life. Green colors of different shades prance harmoniously along the canvas. Contrasting patches of bright red hues are spontaneously inserted to create powerful rhythms, while the white background serves as moments of silence. Slender lines of various thicknesses and overlapping color patches dispersed across the composition serve to symbolize the harmonious melody of surprises in life.
