“A Lamps Room” depicts the inside of a room. Through a simple and clean spatial sense, the artist presents a collage of various everyday objects, such as lights, water container, sink, and drawer. The artist examines everyday life through intricately depicting the objects, leaving blank spots in the painting, and using large color blocks to form the wall and the surface of the table. Through a certain kind of tender brushstrokes, the artist makes the texture more sensual, and each space in the painting seems to be telling a story or the passing of a period of time.
