Surveillance systems and cameras have been established between the clones, hinting at the photographer’s worst nightmare. Cameras serve as tools for gathering newsworthy materials and information, while surveillance systems peek at personal secrets and invade privacy. Events that relate to personal memory, no matter how protected, could always be found on the news. HSU Che-Yu uses this metaphorical artwork as an attempt to reflect upon and study personal memory and memory in community.
