HUANG Mei-Yun’s artwork are mainly inspired by everyday observations of her surroundings in the process of self-discovery. Warming Heart uses a milk colored backdrop to create a scarf covered by white, pink, and red colored tea flowers, portraying romantic emotions in the form of winter camellia on a scarf. Elegant blossoms and warmth provided by the scarf immerses viewers in a soothing atmosphere as they study the work. HUANG Mei-Yun’s glue paintings are infused with the gentle yet subsumed femininity, using plain yet delicate styles to project her spiritual sensations experienced when studying objects around her.
