SU Wan-Ting believes that creation is like a mysterious alchemical process, creating infinite extensions and reproducing visual spaces upon the finite area of the canvas. Independent Living Dragon is another representative work of her use of brilliant colors. Grass green is employed as the base upon atop of which dark green, sky blue as well as dashes of pastel pink, pastel orange and deep purple are arrayed to generate an abstract imagery. Abstract forms are deliberately scattered throughout the canvas in varying densities, generating an irregular form of the canvas that converts the composition into a living entity, like a reproducing or regenerating cell or an endlessly expanding Universe. SU Wan-Ting hopes to use this endless extension of splendor to work her artistic alchemy and convey the splendorous moments of her life.
