TSAI Kuen-Lin feels the lack of understanding of his land and history, so he loves to explore all kinds of documents about the environment, and transformed the hard materials into a series of images. Based on the theme of Datun Mountain in Yangmingshan National Park, Splendours of Datun Mountain requires a detailed survey before creation, such as local beliefs, rural legends, historical monuments, industries, geographical features, etc. All the materials are converted into an image at the final stage of creation. In the image of geometric triangles, TSAI Kuen-Lin juxtaposes objects between nature and man-made, new and old, presenting a synchronic panorama view. The history and geographical features of Datun Mountain interact with each other.
