WU Mei-Chi’s work, XYX-A Moveable Feast #7, looks like a visual experiment of an intertwining dance between the light and material. Through the arrangement of mirrors and objects, she creates an image space full of mirroring reflections. In the picture, the bright flower-shaped glassware is filled with bright purple eggplants. The surface of the eggplant is extremely smooth and makes them look tasty. The colorful fabrics constantly reflect dazzling light, and the mirror in the image allows infinite expansion of the light and the number of objects. WU Mei-Chi uses the camera lens to transform the spatial definition of XYZ in mathematics. They also seem to change the molecular state of the matter, creating a scene of fantasy.
