KANG Tien-Wang sees flowers and plants as a window to the outside world and combines the perception of life from art and Buddhism to depict the praise for the land. In the work, Intimate Conversation, there is a pair of animals in the shape of a beast in the background with a blue sky. Their bodies are made up of flowers and plants from the nature, and they show no signs of violence of a beast, giving off a peaceful expression. They sit face to face and seem to be able to communicate silently. The trees on the back are full of lush foliage and are infinite vitality. The birds at the top of the picture are flying past with leaves, as if they are delivering the message of happiness. KANG Tien-Wang sees creation as a kind of practice and seeks wisdom through painting to convey imagery other than the ones eyes can see.
