Artist KANG Tien-Wang has studied Buddhist text and explored into the association between Buddhism and painting, which then becomes the inspiration for his creation. “The Origin” is the artistic result of Kang’s in-depth study in lessons of life. The image looks as if the flowers and grasses are randomly grown; however a closer look shows the concept of flowers dancing like human and exhibiting the vigorous vitality in wild plants and flowers. The artist personalizes the flowers and plants by painting “Buddhism world of flowers and leaves and vitality in all beings.” The painting portrays the existing vibrant vitality of all beings in the universe.
