LIN Yi-Lung uses traditional etching techniques to create comical and meticulously detailed images. The Saturn depicts an outworldly dimension in an alien planet. The composition depicts a bustling world of fantasy of surreal buildings, strange flowers and plants in the surroundings, and brilliantly decorated biological lifeforms that seem to be combinations of animal and mechanical structures. LIN Yi-Lung has employed traditional etching techniques to create meticulously detailed grayscale images as he reminisces about life. These works represent an attempt to transform the limited visual experiences into realms of unlimited imagination and a search for the wonders that the future has to offer.
