LIN Yi-Lung uses traditional etching techniques to create comical and meticulously detailed images. Scenes from memory were used to construct a fantastic realm from another dimension inspired by observations and fantasies of daily life. Aleph Forest-002 depicts a fairyland and a deer-like organism that seems to be a combination of biological and mechanical structures. The surroundings include many uniquely shaped plants, technological products, and futuristic buildings. These biological forms were included in order to project the artist’s personal emotions.
