HU Mei-Hua conveys inner reflections from her experience in nursing work as well as the strength and infinite possibilities of life through abstract and semi-figurative presentations. Autumn Lotus Chronicle 3 shows large patches of earthly yellow, black, and white colors assembled to provide the main tones of the composition. Curved lines extend in all directions to generate the image of blooming flowers. Bluish-green lines that represent flower stalks meander across the canvas, while the brightly colored blossoms are formed by splashes of overlapping reds, blacks, and whites. HU Mei-Hua converted the forms of growing lotuses into abstract lines and colors, giving viewers plenty of room for emotional imagination as she conveys true and meaningful experiences about life.
