HU Mei-Hua conveys inner reflections from her experience in nursing work as well as the strength and infinite possibilities of life through abstract and semi-figurative presentations. The Rhapsody of Saxophone 1 uses changing techniques and harmonious colors to represent the notes of saxophone music. Blue tones of different degrees of darkness spread across the canvas. Even applications and dry strokes created changing patches and lines. Yellow, pink, and orange painting form a contrast against bright blue colors. Spontaneous drip and flow techniques create changes in rhythm that resemble musical notes. Bright and lively artistic presentation are used by HU Mei-Hua in order to convey the deepest emotional response we experience when we hear good music.
