HU Mei-Hua conveys inner reflections from her experience in nursing work as well as the strength and infinite possibilities of life through abstract and semi-figurative presentations. Autumn Lotus Chronicle 2 uses criss-crossing black and dark brown backgrounds against which lines that symbolize lotus flower stalks are shown growing straight towards the sky or toppled over. Green, earthly yellow, and pinkish orange tones applied in decorative forms present a changing rhythm. The forms of growing lotuses are converted into abstract lines and colors, giving viewers ample imagination to convey their true and deep feelings about life.
