HUANG Po-Hao uses modern ink painting and clean, repeated brush work to illustrate everyday items. No Title has integrated temporal changes into material and ethereal transformations within the lines. The serene composition depicts a breathing and flowing life cycle with the brush work. The artist made use of multiple brush strokes created by simple and repeated hand movements to offer not just visual aesthetics, but also to depict the broken nature of our daily lives. Viewers would start from minute touch points and pale ink tones before going deeper to appreciate the meaning of life itself. Each brush stroke is seemingly simple yet affects the entire composition, just like the vast expanse of life which is composed of an accumulation of seemingly meaningless chores that add up to become a vast ocean of experiences.
