WANG Liang-Yin’s works revolve around confectionaries and cakes, and her works serve as unique snapshots and portraits of different desserts in various scenarios. A Kiss depicts a white lacy coaster covered by tea stains and patches of different colors to show that it has been used. WANG Liang-Yin intends to use the coaster as a romantic metaphor of a kiss, symbolizing the residual temperature and markings left behind by interactions between people and tea and between different individuals.
