WANG Liang-Yin is skilled in using light acrylic paint to create images of tantalizing desserts that epitomize pleasurable and appetizing sweetness. The artist would employ these dessert-themed artworks to observe the transient and realistic elements behind desires and create an alternative means of life. Raspberry Pie shows a raspberry-covered pie that dominates the entire composition. WANG Liang-Yin believes that images of desserts would trigger our taste receptors, and thus employed dripping techniques to represent the process of melting.
