作品賞析

YEH Jen-kun’ s “Floodway” uses simple and organized lines, and four colors—grey, black, white, and blue—to depict the grandness of the floodway. Yeh believes that modern people have created many monumental barriers on the surface of the earth in order to make life more convenient. Not only have we built geographical barriers, we have also created distance between people. Far into the background of the painting is a streetlight glittering in cold white light, which expresses the artist’s expectation in warm humanity.
