In her series The Circus of Den-Den-Ciao-Jean, artist CUEI Yong-Yan builds a fantasy world populated by little circus performers.
CUEI’s sculpture The Juggler is part of this series. It depicts a circus performer, round and hunchbacked, performing a ball trick with a spoon. This spectacular performance leads the audience to momentarily forget their cares. The artist reflects real human moods in this piece.
