Artwork Appreciation
LIN Chun-Ju has studied overseas in Spain and specializes in making large sculpture with fiber. She recently gets access to the Catholic religion and attempts to release her inner agitation through creations on the imaginary heaven of religion. The work, “The Joys of Living in a Forest Like a Bird,” integrates the shape of plants and ocean organisms with bright and passionate colors. The lines are modest with some agitation that is hidden with the anxiety for the development of future civilization. The artist attempts to cure inner anxiety through the creations, using the new species created for this work to exhibit a strong and abundant vitality. The artist attempts to tell us the passion of life, perseverant belief, and the common emotions among all beings through this work.
