作品賞析

The Wanhua area of Taipei prospered due to terminal transportation and urban planning during the Japanese colonial period. After the evolution of history and ethnic groups, it has now become a contemporary space where traditional markets and sex workers coexist. HUNG Yu-Hao's Float is inspired by his long-term observation in Wanhua. The track of "time" truly extends in the lanes of his work. By the use of 3D scanning, the urban scene is sealed, condensing every moment. HUNG Yu-Hao remakes the old urban area and presents the fragmented appearance in a wandering state, echoing the historical image of the past.
