CHEN Kun-Feng created the collage No Boundaries #1 by piecing together photos of travel and life, added with acrylic painted on the surface. The handmade coloring and layered photos pile up the multi-layered space, leading to the question of how mechanical duplication and handmade painting mix together, and focusing on the boundary of photos and images. CHEN Kun-Feng sees “no boundary” as the means to break edges, limitations of space and soul; the idea of nation and border has become formalistic ever since the cyber world develops, as long as the human activity such as economic, technology and culture prevails, the idea of nation needs to be redefined.
