CHEN Kun-Feng’s CB_11415 uses a photographic montage and painting techniques to create an emotional zone in his personal memories. Landscapes witnessed in a road trip become fragments and moments in life that are then distributed throughout the composition like a montage. There is also a black path with trails of tape that occupy part of the composition. The blurred light image depicts a windshield panel of a vehicle, placing the artist himself within his memories. CHEN Kun-Feng attempts to represent the trail of memories, seeking emotions and mindsets within memories that cannot be described in mere words, with the paintings and images serving as proof of existence in various sites.
