Wandering II by HSIAO Pei-I creates a sense of time in a scrolling layout. The picture uses bright colors to anthropomorphize the animals, some of them dancing in tiger skins, some waving flags. On the right side, clothes are piled up as if a soul-summoning ceremony is happening. The work is also full of warning cones and worker puppets that also having created a strong contrast. HSIAO Pei-I uses the style of Ukiyo-e with foils and prints to describe the daily life landscape. When the artificial and natural entwine, spectacles and myths of the wasteland ecosystem become possible.
