LO Wen-Hsin often turns routine scenes in life into images of rich meaning. In the work, Greenhouse, she uses the commonly used needle pen as a tool to present a sketch-like texture, and by utilizing the needle-like characteristics of the needle pen, she creates destructive texture marks on the painting, resulting in a tragic space. In the picture, the previously lively greenhouse, as if being stripped of color, has no vitality anymore. The plant is housed indoor and is artificially cultivated. It can only receive the illumination of artificial light every day and cannot feel the temperature of the actual sun and weather. LO Wen-Hsin uses the greenhouse to reflect on human beings living in a realisitc society, conveying the weakness and helplessness of life.
