CHANG Hung-Ming is skilled in using watercolor as a creative media and has continued to develop his unique brand of artistic vocabulary, transforming his experiences and emotional states into a separate artistic world. Sea Land Sky is composed of three panels arranged from top to bottom, depicting three different aspects of the natural world. Figures traverse freely across the sky, land, and the sea, floating and unbounded by the forces of gravity. Just as the title suggests, CHANG Hung-Ming employed this artwork to introduce his personal fantasy where everyone is gently surrounded by natural elements to lead natural, comfortable, and pleasant lifestyles. By creating this fantasy world, CHANG Hung-Ming attempts to dispel the chains that bind him to the realistic world.
