Artist Li Po-Yi specializes in using aerial photography to capture the unique aspects of urban spaces, capturing forms and structures that are not easily apparent from a horizontal perspective. His work Mosaic Playground focuses on the inclusive children’s playground at Taipei's Shuangyuan Riverside Park. The work transforms facilities such as sandpits, slides, ropes, and mats into vibrant, sharply defined geometric shapes, creating a playful effect reminiscent of assembled building blocks. The nine-square grid arrangement creates a rhythmic, unified composition, brining together spatial elements that had been scattered. a Bright color blocks create a light and playful atmosphere, provoking reflection on urban spatial planning and constraints. Each frame displays strong color contrasts and compositional tension, resembling an abstract painting yet recognizable as a familiar playground scene.
