HWANG Yue-Sheng is good at creating with mezzotint and Viscosity Intaglio and is outstanding in Taiwan's printmaking art field. Viscosity printing is a multi-color printmaking technique that incorporates principles of relief printing and intaglio printing. The work Impromptu--3 is based on black ink, supplemented by red and white. It presents unrestrained lines with speed and random brush strokes. The whole picture presents a visual aesthetic like calligraphy. HWANG Yue-Sheng explores philosophical issues such as "symbols" and "metaphors" through his creations. In an abstract art form, he expresses the true existence of consciousness itself.
