Huge Planting, Big Windows, Lying Dog, Silent People by YEN Pei-Shan is based on the daily scenery in Taiwan. Tiny tiles decorate the exterior walls of the house. The glass-aluminum windows are set with arched interiors. The fancy window grills can be seen everywhere, and various winding pipes are exposed on the walls. In the front, various potted plants and bushes are planted. Vague human figures and lying puppies are in the bushes. YEN Pei-Shan uses the common house styles in Taiwan's streets and lanes and presents them in a distorted way. At first glance, it seems to be a landscape that has been seen before, but the lack of accurate information causes a strange yet familiar perception of chaos.
