作品賞析

TANG Jo-Hung's The Sister puts the protagonist in the center of the picture with the landscape background, the picture is like a traditional religious painting. He outlines the people and landscapes with rough lines, and adds thick color strokes, making the overall atmosphere simple. In TANG Jo-Hung's works, there are occasionally some more religious roles, such as the Pope, the practitioner, Christ, etc., but these roles are just some of his subconscious memories. They are not necessarily intended to highlight a certain spiritual symbol. On the other hand, TANG Jo-Hung uses the same composition as Da Vinci's masterpiece "Mona Lisa" in the work as a little joke on art history.
