LEE Shu-Chuan adopts print to convey her spiritual and life epiphany, her work Abstract landscape 1-15 reinterprets the spirit of traditional Chinese ink painting, it consists of 15 still life prints, using traditional elements of Shan Shui in composition, with white lines as the wrinkles outlining the dynamic and abstract texture of rocks. Seemingly random and scattered colors are actually all under the rigorous arrangement, presented with order and harmony. Freedom is what LEE Shu-Chuan pursues, in the abstract landscape, she revisits the philosophy of eastern painting with a new narration.
