WANG Da-Jen applies deep, condensed black and gray scale to his iconical heavy strokes and style in depicting the stories happening on artificial landscapes. Swimming Pool consists of three continuing acrylic paintings, in monochrome scene of kids having fun in the swimming pool, peach paint replaces the sky and water surface creating this intriguing strong contrast and unlimited imagination. WANG Da-Jen believes that the inner consciousness of human beings constructs the universe and everything; the swimming poor is a 3D minimodel where kids play, and the space and time in it become part of the image.
