HU Kun-Jung’s work fuses space, color and structure, and changes and combines quadrilaterals and triangles of various sizes and proportions to explore the possibilities of geometric abstract art. A Pond in Woods uses different colors to weave groups of areas, the viewer’s sight drifts between the colors and roams in this unique ambiance of the space. HU Kun-Jung’s creative process doesn’t involve calculation of proportion and structure in advance, but uses a pure intuitive visual experience to improvise geometric shapes, generating brilliant rhythmic movements and refreshing visual feelings.
