HU Kun-Jung has been focusing on the presentation of geometric and abstract art for many years. He uses color, space, and structure as basic elements to form conceptual minimalist assemblages. Morning Twilight in the Forest shows various flat-colored geometric blocks scattered about the canvas, connected to each other in a rule determined by size. The independent color blocks form an integrated body at the same time to generate a subtle interactive relationship, while the bright and somber colors create a heavy yet light-hearted rhythm on the canvas.
