LIN Yu-Wen's printmaking utilizes the connecting nature and the texture changes of different prints to create printmaking with rich texture. In Unknown IV, the overlapping layers of ink, through the accumulation of time, gradually expand on the blank picture. Some textures of the ink are thin and light, while some are thick and rough, much like the occasionally clear or confused thoughts. The inks are separated at times but blend with each other at other times, intertwining the cold and warm color tones and forming an unevenness on the surface of the print, much like a complex landscape texture. Through printmaking, LIN Yu-Wen shows the concept of unpredictability and embosses a mind map within her heart.
