作品賞析
LEE Ming-Hsing’s photographic work, Hacker, has taken a series of photos of Taiwan's hillsides using an aerial camera. Comprising of seven components, the work reveals the broken and terrifying hillsides due to humans’ over-exploitation from a bird’s-eye view. People are like forest hackers, making up a complex network to attack the forests. The initially lush natural forests, in addition to losing its original appearances and impacting the soil and water conversation of the region, they also cause irreversible damage to the entire ecosystem. LEE Ming-Hsing uses the photographs to silently accuse and reveal the endless destruction that human beings impose on the nature.
