WANG Guan-Jhen finds the possibility of creation in everyday life. The characters in her paintings are always with dazing eyes, and the color of the painting is full of turbid texture and brushstrokes. These characters are not without thoughts but they have already sunk into the space of thought. In the work, Speak out the Words –– The Color of Love, a pair of man and woman is in the painting, surrounded in the artificial park scenery. The boy is reaching for and gently patting the girl's head while the girl is holding her hands, her eyes drifting elsewhere, and faintly telling various emotions underneath the surface. In order to feel its existence, WANG Guan-Jhen uses brushes to record the everyday life that is always fading. By narrating the trivial little things, we can constantly pursue and create more fragments that deserve our attention in life.
